Description: This is a pack of TWO BLACK coloured Nylon 66 PASS THRU type Molex connectors + 8 pins to populate all 4 terminal spaces on each connector. These are used when you need to power something inside your PC case such as lights/fans etc and do not have enough molex PSU connections to do so easily. The connector has a molex MALE at one end and a molex FEMALE at the other end. This allows you to add the wires to the connector as per your requirements (see pictures for 5v, 7v & 12v pinouts) and then by ensuring all pins are inserted you can connect the plug to an existing in use PSU molex plug and plug back into whatever the original connector was plugged into. Great for modern PSU looms with limited Molex connectors - and not like some of the ugly 2 plug splitters you can buy! Failure to fix your wires properly or in the wrong order will result in a LOUD BANG, more than likely a bit of smoke and more than likely a dead PSU or worse PC!!1 - Check voltage required and refer to relevant picture in listing for location of pins. If only using 2 pinouts now insert the pins not being used into the plastic body. To do this hold the pins by the open end and with the crimp opening upwards - slide into the body of the connector and push until you feel a soft click. (You will know it is properly inserted by gently pushing on the closed tip end of the pin - if it does not move it is securely inserted.2 - Again checking the picture in the listing, either crimp or solder your wires onto the remaining pins at the correct location on the pin (This is critical as if you fit it in the wrong place the connector will not go together properly.)3 - Insert wires into connector as per instructions in step 1 - remembering to ensure that you have correct positive/negative pins in the correct slots!4 - Holding flat plastic tab with lugs away from you and pointing upwards, slide into groove above metal pins and push into connector until lugs lock into connector body.5 - DO NOT power up until you have re-checked that you have pinouts correct and that you have no bare wires/terminals/pins touching each other. If in any doubt let a professional person do this work for you!!
